About Me

I began my working life as a page at the Davis Library in downtown Westminster, Maryland, but my life's been full of pages almost from the beginning. Book pages, magazine pages, web pages, spreads, folios, signatures--they're all stitched (and glued, and bound) into my waking and sleeping selves.  I've been a writer almost since I first picked up a pencil; I've been a freelance writer and editor since 2006. My clients include Davis Publications, Inc., Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Mass Audubon, Jump Start Press, Ceres Education, and Storey Publishing.
